Introduction to Power BI

Power BI is a self-service reporting software, to discover your data in easier way than traditional excel approach. During this workshop you are guided in creating a complete analytical solution, using wide range of available features. Starting from import, you can see how to use Power BI to integrate data from many different sources, going further you will transform your data and build interaction between them. You will also learn how to edit your data and prepare to pretty visualization.

At the end of the day, you will be ready to start using the entire PowerBI stack to your daily analysis, choosing the right feature for each requirement and applying the best practices in each step.

Minimum Requirements

This is a BYOD (bring your own device) workshop, so remember to bring your own laptop. The workshop will run for 8 hours from 9AM until 5PM. There will be a few coffee breaks and one 1-hour lunch break (on your own).

Trainer - Hubert Kobierzewski

Hubert works at Codec-dss as BI Consultant. He helps customers to gather their data and convert it into valuable information using Microsoft Data Platform technologies. Hubert is also a leader of Polish SQL Server User Group (Warsaw Chapter).
